In a world besieged by conflict, the on-going struggle between Arabs and Israelis is the longest running and one of the most complex. History, religion, politics, economics, military alliances, diplomatic allegiances, and cultural ties all come to a confluence and quagmire in a space not much bigger than a good-sized US shopping mall. And still, so many of the word's affairs are intertwined in this conflict.
